OUR VINEYARDS

Between land and sea

GALLURA IS A MAGICAL PLACE

Our vineyards are located in Gallura, a corner of Sardinia between the granite hills and the splendid sea of the Costa Smeralda.
A special place for growing grapes. This is the ideal habitat for Vermentino di Gallura, Sardinia’s only DOCG.
This grape is part of our winemaking tradition and from it we produce one of the best known and most appreciated white wines: Vermentino di Gallura DOCG.

OUR TERROIR

This is where everything comes from

Gallura is located in the north-east of Sardinia and is a land that differs from the rest of the island due to its particular orographic structure and the composition of its soils, which are mainly granite in nature. A territory that ranges from the mountains to the sea. It is precisely the proximity to the sea, which creates a special micro-climate, that provides the ideal habitat for the growth of a grape that is unique to this area: Vermentino di Gallura.

This uniqueness, recognised also by the attribution of the DOCG (unique in Sardinia), is also reflected in the characteristics of the wines made from these grapes, kissed by the sun’s rays, and cradled by the winds from the sea. In fact, Vermentino di Gallura is a unique wine that embodies the traits of this land facing the sea – from which it draws freshness and flavour – but is linked to the hinterland from which it draws structure and personality.
